Hi, I'm Bear!

 

Welcome to The Flying D Ranch West! In 2000, the Davis family embarked on an incredible adventure by purchasing land nestled in the heart of the beautiful Bitterroot Valley in Montana. Dwight, a passionate pilot, along with wife GleeAnn and daughter Bear (that's me!), founded The Flying D Ranch.

 

I now live on the land adjacent to- just west of- our family ranch, where I’m raising my family and our cherished herd of Highland Cattle. Over the years, our herd has flourished! We now a have a mix of dairy and beef breeds alongside our Highlands.

 

Each fall, our hay barn fills to the rafters, providing not only for our livestock all winter, but also offering a generous supply of hay for sale to fellow farms and ranches throughout the valley.

 

In 2025, we expanded our operations to include a state-inspected and licensed Farm Store, where we proudly sell our USDA inspected Highland and Highland cross beef.
